Squiz are proud to announce that the new RACQ website went live over the weekend; the first go-live for the new Squiz Brisbane office. Squiz staff from all over Australia pitched in to make the project such a success. Squiz developed custom systems for 64 decentralised non technical editors to update complex content such as Car Reviews and Travel packages with simple editing interfaces. Another key feature of the Squiz solution was in optimising the RACQ website 'Search Engine Optimisation' using advanced MySource Matrix techniques. See for yourself at http://www.racq.com.au/.
Top 10 Intranets of 2008
Recently the Nielsen Norman Group announced its ‘Top 10 Intranets of 2008’ which includes the Squiz - MySource Matrix built NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) intranet. DPI Internal Communications Manager Kate Needham said the department’s ‘InSite’ intranet has become an invaluable communication platform for some 3,500 staff, many of who are in the field. “Some standout features include the simplicity of its design, a consistent look and intuitive, topic-based navigation,” says Needham.
